InformationWeek: The DHS plans to move ahead with a project to modernize its financial system despite an Office of Management and Budget (OMB) memo calling for a halt to all federal financial system-modernization projects until it reviews them.
Members of the House Committee on Homeland Security sent a letter to the agency's Under Secretary of Management Rafael Borras concerning the project -- called Transformation and Systems Consolidation (TASC) -- on Monday. The letter asked how the DHS planned to proceed with the project considering the OBM memo.
