First U.S. Army EQ-36 radar deploys to Iraq

Defense News: The U.S. Army's EQ-36 radar will be used in operations for the first time when the 4th brigade combat team of the 1st Cavalry Division deploys to Iraq this month.

A targeting and acquisition platoon from the Advise and Assist Brigade will be the first to deploy with the system, according to an Army blog. They have been training on the system for eight months.
