USA Today: The Pentagon's plan to slash millions of dollars in late fees for shipping containers used to stow gear in war zones doesn't go far enough, three senators said in a letter to the Defense Department.
The bipartisan trio of senators said they are dissatisfied with the Pentagon's proposed contract with shipping companies to save the military 40% of the fees it was charged in 2011 for not returning the containers on time.
