CBP Announces Final Rule for Global Entry Trusted Travelers
Homeland Security Today: Following a White House order and a push by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Monday published a rule to make permanent the Global Entry trusted traveler program, which speeds the passage of air passengers arriving in the United States through customs and immigration inspections.

Most Global Entry travelers are able to process themselves into the country in about five minutes, CBP estimated.
