Homeland Security Today: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recently established a centralized training office, centralizing training throughout the organization and placing a supervisor from air marshals in charge of the new office.
The TSA Training and Workforce Engagement Office therefore provides training for the Federal Air Marshals Service (FAMS) as well as transportation security officers (TSOs) working in airports, Michael Novak, director of the training office, told a House panel Thursday.
