GSA to offer buyouts, early outs
Federal Times: The General Services Administration plans to offer buyouts and early outs to as many as 650 of its employees.
A GSA spokesman said the agency asked the Office of Personnel Management on Tuesday for permission to offer buyouts and early retirements to up to 5 percent of its workforce. The buyouts and early outs will be targeted primarily toward employees in GSA's Federal Acquisition Service, Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technology, Office of Governmentwide Policy and Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Employees in GSA's Assisted Acquisition Service support center in San Francisco will also be offered buyouts and early outs.
