Concerns on Jeep Safety Remain, Despite Recall

The New York Times: DETROIT — Since its bankruptcy and government bailout in 2009, the American automaker Chrysler has made a stirring comeback primarily by expanding sales of its popular Jeep sport utility vehicles.

But even as Chrysler flourishes as part of the newly merged Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, it has been unable to escape lingering concerns about the safety of millions of Jeeps built years ago.
