Former lobbyist ran HUD policy office and championed looser regs while working for industry group

The Washington Post: For three years, former lobbyist Deb Gross ran a key policy office within the Department of Housing and Urban Development while serving as deputy director of an advocacy group with a stake in the agency’s decisions.

As a HUD official, Gross championed looser regulations, hired industry insiders to work within her division and offered to provide information to the Council of Large Public Housing Authorities, where she served in a top position that she still holds today.
