Will Obama's new overtime rules actually hurt workers?

CNN:  A new federal rule that expands the number of workers eligible for overtime pay means employers will have to pony up more money -- in payroll, administrative and legal costs.

They're not happy. And, they warn, workers won't be either.

That's a stark contrast from the message put out by the Department of Labor, which created the rule to provide a better deal for underpaid, overworked salaried managers and other "white collar" employees currently exempt from overtime pay.
