DoD CIO: government lacks ‘interventions’ with future workforce

Federal Times: Government has a problem: a majority of the workforce is closer to retirement age than to the beginnings of their careers, and agencies need to figure out how to attract young talent to replace those that will leave the workforce.

According to the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer Dana Deasy, government needs to work on its intersections with students and potential workers so that they see government as a potential option for them in their careers.
