Hawaii becomes first state to align with Paris agreement after Trump withdrawal
The Hill: Hawaii has become the first state enact legislation aligned with the Paris climate agreement, after President Trump announced his decision to withdraw the U.S. from the deal last week.
The state’s Gov. David Ige (D) announced he signed two bills into law Tuesday that line up with the Paris accord.
