Chair of Missouri Medicaid panel booted as questions swirl about drop in health care rolls

St. Louis Post-Dispatch: The chairman of the committee that oversees the state’s Medicaid program was quietly removed from the panel last month after he raised concerns about a drop in the number of Missourians receiving health care coverage through the government program.

Timothy D. McBride, the former chairman of the MoHealthNet Oversight Committee, told the Post-Dispatch Tuesday the state’s top Medicaid official, Todd Richardson, called McBride in May and told him he would be replaced.
