DoD creates social media hub
InformationWeek: The Department of Defense (DoD) has updated a website it hopes will be a central location for connecting its staff with social networks and information about social media according to the department's guidelines for it.
The Social Media Hub recently underwent a facelift in line with a "renewed set of expectations" the DoD has for social media, the department said in a post on its Armed with Science web page, which highlights the importance of science and technology to the military.
