Informationweek: NASA has identified 16 technologies to help it achieve three main objectives for its space technology program over the next five years, as it aims to "restore its technical edge" and expand its research of activities both on Earth and in space.
The agency's top goals are to sustain human activities beyond low-Earth orbit; continue its exploration of the evolution of the solar system and life outside of it; and increase its understanding of the Earth and the universe, according to a roadmap of priorities for the program revealed in a new report released by NASA.
