Government Security News: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) released on Feb. 7 a paper, entitled Recommendations for Establishing an Identity Ecosystem Governance Structure, which is intended to support NIST’s implementation of the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace.
“The paper summarizes the comments received in response to the [Notice of Inquiry] and provides recommendations and intended government actions to serve as a catalyst for establishing such a governance structure,” explains a NIST notice published in the Federal Register on Feb. 17.
