IT Spending Holds Steady in Trump’s Budget

NextGov: Civilian agencies and the Defense Department would collectively receive approximately $88 billion to spend on information technology in fiscal 2020, according to supplemental budget data released by the White House Monday.

The total is essentially the same as the federal government spent on IT last year, although civilian agencies—led by the Homeland Security Department—would receive about $1 billion more in this year’s request while the Pentagon receives about $1 billion less.
