That's how many federal government services have moved to cloud computing, with 79 more scheduled for the transition by June. The Obama administration has been trying to rein in information-technology spending while increasing efficiency by relying more on the cloud and mobile devices. IT spending would decline 1.2 percent in the next fiscal year under the president's budget proposal announced Monday. Microsoft, Google, Amazon.com and IBM are among the companies competing for cloud-computing contracts.
