MA: Boston mayor appoints first-ever Chief Digital Officer
Metro: Boston now has its first-ever Chief Digital Officer - 28-year-old Lauren Lockwood.
City officials announced on Thursday that Boston Mayor Martin Walsh had appointed Lockwood to the position. In her role, Lockwood is tasked with uniting and strengthening the city's digital assets, including web, e-government, video and mobile platforms.
