President Obama turns his focus Thursday to the role of technology in education.
Obama meets in the afternoon with a group of ConnectED Champions of Change, educators being honored for their use of Internet technology in teaching.
"This past June, President Obama launched the ConnectED Initiative to connect 99% of America's students to the digital age through next-generation broadband and high-speed wireless in five years and calling on the FCC to modernize its existing E-Rate program to meet this goal," says the White House schedule.
Obama also has a string of meetings Thursday, as well as lunch with Vice President Biden.
