Arizona's employer-sanctions law seldom used since '08 passage

An Arizona law meant to punish businesses for hiring illegal immigrants has seldom been used since it went into effect five years ago.

AZCentral reports the state's employer-sanctions law has only yielded three known court cases. Some claim the law has loopholes that leave authorities powerless to conduct investigations under the law, while others say the law is a burden to businesses, leaving them at a disadvantage against cheaters and out-of-state companies.
