Summer is almost here, which means that government and citizens need to brace for hurricane season.

President Obama spends Friday afternoon at the headquarters of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, receiving a briefing on hurricane preparedness.

Earlier in the day, Obama is briefed on the progress of My Brother's Keeper, an initiative the president created to help young men of color.

Obama also meets Vice President Biden for lunch on Friday.
