The Federal Chief Information Officers Council will host the first government-side federal and cyber tech hiring event.

The event will be held November 6-7 at the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring, Maryland.

“Over 20 federal agencies will collaboratively recruit, interview, and hire applicants on the spot, in a streamlined hiring process. Additionally, participants will have access to free training seminars that will cover resume writing, interviewing, and applying to federal government jobs,” according to a GAO announcement. “Webinars on these topics will also be made available to applicants prior to the event.”

The federal government needs data architects, computer scientists, cyber analysts, engineers, mathematicians and project managers, among other jobs. Candidates of all experience levels can apply for open positions from September 15-29 on the USAJOBS site. Qualified candidates may be selected to interview during the hiring event.
