Army authorizes nearly 650 officer promotions for February

The Army has authorized 645 Regular Army officer promotions to the ranks of chief warrant officer three through colonel for February, the service announced Monday.

The service also has authorized 32 promotions to captain through lieutenant colonel for Army Reserve officers in the Active Guard and Reserve.

The Regular Army promotion plan for February includes 55 advancements to colonel for all branches and corps, 111 to lieutenant colonel, 118 to major, 193 to captain, nine to chief warrant officer five, 53 to chief warrant officer four, and 74 to chief warrant officer three.
