Pentagon names Dana Deasy to lead Defense IT

Federal Times: The Pentagon announced April 5, 2018, that former JP Morgan Chase chief information officer Dana Deasy will be stepping up to lead the Department of Defense’s IT posture as the agency’s new CIO.

“In his position, he will be responsible for how we manage and use information, communications and cyber-security. This is particularly important as we adopt cloud technology to make more informed and timely decisions on the battlefield,” said Pentagon press secretary Dana White.
