NSF Funds Indiana U Jetstream Cloud Through 2020

Campus Technology: Indiana University's Research Technologies center has received $1.3 million from the National Science Foundation to fund operations for the Jetstream research computing cloud through 2020. That brings the NSF's total contribution to the project to $13.7 million since 2014.

Jetstream is a cloud environment that provides on-demand computing and data analysis, accessible by tablet, laptop or desktop computer. In particular, it's designed to put advanced computing power in reach for researchers and programs that have not had access to comparable resources.
