Feds honored for great dedication to public service

Federal Times: For years Rana Hajjeh worked to convince 60 countries around the world to help vaccinate their populations against meningitis and pneumonia and ultimately prevented millions of childhood deaths and disabilities.

Hajjeh, an employee at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at the Health and Human Services Department, was honored for her hard work by being named “Federal Employee of the Year” by the Partnership for Public Service at a ceremony Sept. 22.
