Michigan cities’ climate plans count on voluntary building efficiency upgrades
Energy News Network: Michigan’s two largest cities face distinct policy challenges, but when it comes to cutting greenhouse gas emissions, Detroit and Grand Rapids share a top priority.
Both cities see buildings as a key element to meeting ambitious climate goals in the coming decades. And both are hoping that voluntary programs and a lead-by-example approach will be enough to spur broad change.
