Janet Vogel of CMS named chief federal information security officer for healthcare
Modern Healthcare: The CMS' deputy chief information officer, Janet Vogel, will move to HHS at the beginning of April, taking over from Chris Wlaschin as the nation's top chief information security officer for healthcare.
Vogel has been at the CMS for more than 15 years. As deputy CIO, Vogel heads software development and implementation, among other work.
