Bumrungrad International launches comprehensive genomic profiling for cancer treatment

Healthcare IT News: Bumrungrad International Hospital, a private multiple-specialty medical centre founded 1980 in Bangkok, Thailand, announced the launch of FoundationOne CDx, the first broad companion diagnostic assay to be endorsed by the USFDA in 2017. FoundationOne CDx is a next generation sequencing-based in vitro diagnostic test that can detect genetic mutations in 324 genes and two genomic signatures in any solid tumour type.

This new comprehensive genomic profiling includes an updated gene list and alterations in the most commonly mutated genes known to drive the growth of cancer. New tests detail genomic signatures which can better direct treatment decisions.
