10 companies win spots on GSA's $50B telecom contract

Federal Times: The General Services Administration announced the winners of its next-generation telecom contract, Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS), intended to be the go-to vehicle for agencies — civilian and defense — looking for telecom services.

The new contract — set to replace the aging Networx vehicle — includes basic telecommunication offerings, as well as wireless, VoIP and video calling. The contract has a projected ceiling of $50 billion.
