Unified Cybersecurity Unit Is Necessary to Protect New Jersey Agencies from Threats

Government Technology: TRENTON, N.J. — From the perspective of New Jersey Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Dave Weinstein, the team at the state’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) has come far under his 11-month tenure —  but much remains to be done.

“The state of IT in New Jersey is trending upward, but there is a long road to the finish line,” he said to a packed crowd at Government Technology's New Jersey Digital Government Summit on May 24. One accomplishment Weinstein seemed to be particularly proud of was what he called the “commercialization of our service catalog.”
