Federal CIOs holding first tech hiring event
Federal Times: The Federal Chief Information Officers Council will host the first government-side federal and cyber tech hiring event.
The event will be held November 6-7 at the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring, Maryland.
“Over 20 federal agencies will collaboratively recruit, interview, and hire applicants on the spot, in a streamlined hiring process. Additionally, participants will have access to free training seminars that will cover resume writing, interviewing, and applying to federal government jobs,” according to a GAO announcement. “Webinars on these topics will also be made available to applicants prior to the event.”
