Traditional Computers on the Rise in the United States
the Journal: Personal computers are on the rebound in the United States. Despite a gloomy worldwide picture, domestically, PC shipments saw their second consecutive quarter of improvement, which is expected to continue for a couple more years. In the third-quarter back-to-school season, Apple was the only top-5 manufacturer to post a decline on domestic unit shipments, according to preliminary data released by market research firm Gartner.
