US Senate confirms Tavenner as Medicare/Medicaid chief
Reuters: The U.S. Senate on Wednesday confirmed Marilyn Tavenner, a former nurse and hospital company executive, as the first full-fledged administrator for the Medicare and Medicaid healthcare programs since 2006.
