The FTC Cracks Down On Fine, Fine Print With Those Low, Low Prices

Forbes: The Federal Trade Commission, which has a weakness for giving its enforcement actions catchy names, said it had reached consent orders with a couple of auto dealers accused of misleading advertising.

The orders are part of a much bigger FTC sweep in the United States and Canada, called Operation Ruse Control (sounds like ”cruise control,” get it?). In 2014, the commission called a smaller group of cases along similar lines Operation Steer Clear.
