Commerce picks chief data officer
Federal Times: The Commerce Department has chosen its first ever chief data officer, Navy veteran Ian Kalin. Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker announced the hiring on March 13, at the South by Southwest conference in Austin, Texas.
Kalin tweeted the news too.
