Financial Times: On Friday, the Obama administration made two announcements about energy and climate policy. One dominated the day’s news agenda while the other went almost entirely unnoticed, attracting interest only from the industry cognoscenti. One announcement will have few consequences for either the health of the US energy industry or the threat of catastrophic climate change. The other could ultimately have a huge impact on both.
