Renewable Taos Seeks 100% Renewable Energy That Is “Accessible To All”

Clean Technica: New Mexico is officially known as the “Land of Enchantment.” However, before 1941, the state’s license plates declared New Mexico “the Sunshine State.” It’s the third sunniest state in the U.S., behind Arizona and Nevada. With that abundant sunshine, it’s no wonder that the people of Taos County (pop. 33,035), in northern New Mexico, want to use more solar energy.
