Federal court denies FERC jurisdiction in PG&E bankruptcy case

Utility Dive: The ruling from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California is the latest installment in the jurisdictional tussle over PG&E's bankruptcy.

In January, just before PG&E filed for Chapter 11 protections, independent generators Exelon and NextEra asked FERC to preserve the PPAs they had signed with the utility.
