Maryland taking a 'serious look' at exiting PJM capacity market through FRR, says PSC Chair

Utility Dive: Maryland, Illinois and New Jersey have all raised the possibility of leaving the wholesale power market over what they see as an affront to state clean energy goals.

"In states like Maryland ... we have a number of preferred resources [and] we're seeing it [be] more and more difficult to work within the confines of the rules imposed by FERC on PJM," said Stanek.
