The FCC is paying $9 billion to these 10 telecom firms to add rural Internet service

Dallas Morning News: WASHINGTON–We reported this morning that AT&T had agreed to accept more than $2.5 billion in funding to help it speed up deployment of high-speed internet service to rural America, a plan that will bring broadband within the reach of 98,000 homes and businesses in Texas.
