AL: Hoover police using new technology to break language barriers
ABC News: HOOVER - AL - The Hoover Police Department is using a new mobile device. It is used for real-time language interpretation for non-English speaking citizens. The hands-free ELSA (Enabling Language Service Anywhere) devices uses cellular technology to connect directly with interpreters in 180 languages and dialects.
