Tennessee Sues To Block FCC Broadband Ruling

Forbes: Following the FCC’s 3-2 vote last month to pre-empt state laws restricting municipal broadband, Tennessee has filed suit seeking a review of the Commission’s ruling. On Friday the state’s Attorney General Herbert Slatery filed a petition with the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to review the FCC’s order, saying, ”the FCC has unlawfully inserted itself between the State of Tennessee and the State’s own political subdivisions”.
