Senators Told GITMO Must be Closed
Homeland Security Today: Many of the witnesses who testified at a Senate subcommittee hearing Wednesday about shuttering the Guantanamo terrorist detention facility known as GITMO were adamant that it must be closed because of what they said is it’s inhuman treatment of the 166 remaining prisoners. Treatment that runs counter to international human rights policies, they claimed.
