New Jersey takes first step toward reducing greenhouse gases under Murphy energy plan

NorthJersey.com: Gov. Phil Murphy unveiled his much-anticipated energy master plan on Monday, echoing his prior calls to drastically reduce New Jersey's greenhouse gas emissions in a state that is already feeling the effects of global climate change.

But the real work on how to achieve 100% clean energy by 2050 will be done within the next two years as the Department of Environmental Protection begins to develop climate regulations to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from power plants and other sources.
