Massachusetts House unanimously passes health care reform bill

MassLive: House lawmakers on Wednesday unanimously voted to take another pass at infusing additional cash into financially strapped community hospitals, a key feature of a health care bill that collapsed two years ago when House and Senate Democrats could not reach agreement by a July 31 deadline.

”The last couple of bills that we’ve worked on here in the House have not gotten across the finish line, the main sticking point being money -- how do you spread the money out, who gets what, who pays, who are the net payers, who are the net gains,” Majority Leader Ron Mariano said on the House floor Tuesday night.
