Texas legislators propose slashing class time required to get a concealed-handgun license
Dallas Morning News: AUSTIN — Anyone hoping to get a concealed-handgun license, as one out of every 44 Texans has done, must first take a 10-hour course.
Instructors and others say that’s too long in a classroom, and lawmakers seem poised to change the requirement.
