Police body cams come with cost, privacy concerns

Orlando Sentinel: As controversial police shootings dominated headlines last year, activists, experts and even the president advocated a technological answer to the widespread demands for greater law-enforcement accountability: body-worn cameras.

Many law-enforcement agencies have since embraced the idea, viewing the devices not only as a way to weed out bad officers, but also to protect good ones from frivolous complaints and as a way to capture valuable evidence for their cases.
