Baggage Screening Machines May be Vulnerable to Sabotage, House HS Committee Members Say

Homeland Security Today: Questions about whether more than 200 X-ray screening machines used at airports nationwide to screen carry-on baggage “are at risk for sabotage or espionage,” were raised in a bi-partisan letter sent Friday by the chairman and three other members of the House Committee on Homeland Security to two top homeland security officials.
