Senate votes to enforce federal immigration laws with interstate compact

Dallas News: Legislation that seeks to create an interstate compact between Texas and other states to enforce federal immigration laws won tentative approval Wednesday from the Senate. With Democrats in opposition, the GOP majority approved a bill that would be the first step in establishing the Border Security Interstate Compact.
